at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. G. Nehring, in Haskell and
has been hospitalized. A speedy
recovery, Mrs. Suter.
Holiday visitors in the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Dobe Kobinson
were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bell and
family of Lovington, New Mex-
ico, the James Robinsons from
Stratford and S.F.I. Robinson
and wife who were moving to
Washington D.C. also Mr. and
Mrs. Delma K. McGary of Stam-
ford.
Sharon Leverett went to Dal-
las to attend a meeting of the
Texas 4-H Executive Council
The purpose of the meeting was
to make plans for the annual
meeting next summer. The Uni-
ted Gas Company of Houston
sponsored the meeting. Their
representative was Benny Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Dean Letz and
sons of Abilene spent the holi-
days with their narents, Mr. and
Mrs. John Letz and Mr. and Mrs.
G. F. Spitzer and sons, Kenny
and Weldon.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Linder and
baby Tracy of Abilene were din-
ner guests Sunday in the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Flowers.
Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Gibson
Sr., have been visiting their
daughters and families, Mr. and
Mrs. John Burrow and Mrs. Eula
Mae Magness, all of Friona and
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Rogers in
Bovina. Mrs. Rogers has been in
the hospital but; is home now.
The Gibson's were accompanied
by another daughter, Mrs. Travis
Beil and Mr. Beil.

special ceremony in the Zion
Lutheran Church at Sagerton
conducted by Rev. Ernest R.
Pflug. A reception followed in
the church Parish Hall where
about eighty-six guests were re-
gistered by Mrs. Tredemeyers
sister, Mrs. Jack Anderson, who
had attended the bride 25 years
ago. Walter Lehman of Roscoe
was the groom's attendant.
The refreshment tgble was
laid with a lace cloth over green.
The centerpiece was an arrange-
ment of white carnations and
gladiolia flanked by white burn-'
ing candles.
The cake was Bible-shaped
with the names of the couple's
three children inscribed in sil-
ver, "Mary", "Jeanie" and "Bud-
dy" on one side and the wedd-'
ing date, December 28, 1938 on '
the other side. 1
Mary is Mrs, Ted Jennings and
she and her husband reside in
Seymour. Jeanie is Mrs. Larry
Letz and she and Mr. Letz and
baby girl reside at Abilene.
Charles, (Buddy) resides at Lue-
ders. The three children and
the two son-in-laws are gradu-
ates of Old Glory High School.
Mrs. Walter Lehmann of Abi-
lene assisted the two daughters,
in serving cake and punch. Mrs.
Lloyd Cleveland of Lamesa dis-
played the gifts.
Mrs. Tredemeyer was the for-
mer Norma Lehmann of Roscoe.
The couple was married in the
home of the bride's father, the
' late August Lehmann on Dec. 28,
| 1938 by Pastor E. R. Rothgeber
j of Sagerton, now of Westfield.
Texas.
Mrs. Tredemeyer's mother,
i now Mrs. Hilda Barber of San
1 Antonio was unable to attend
the anniversary occasion but
■ sent the couple a hand crocheted
tablecloth.
Mr. Tredemeyer's mother, Mrs,
Annie Tredemeyer of Sagerton,
derson of Lueders, Mr. and Mrs.
H. Raphelt of Stamford. Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Hertel of Rule, Mr.
and Mrs. Glyn Lavvorn of Stam-
ford, with their families, also
Weldon Tredemeyer and fam-
ily, Lueders.
Her family included: Mr.
and Mrs. B. A. Erdman, Old
Glory, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leh-
mann, Abilene, Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Lehmann, Roscoe, Mr.
and Mrs. Lloyd Cleveland, Lam-
esa, Lester Lehmann, Winfield,
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hertten-
berger and twin daughters Mary
and Martha of Abilene spent the
week end with his parents, Mr.
