“OUR MEN IN SERVICE”
To these men and boys who have given up homes
and families and good jobs to fight for us, we honor
and pay tribute. They are deserving of every act
of kindness and every word of praise that we may
direct toward (hem. Our hope is that soon they
shall have accomplished their mission and return
to their homes, back to their respective places in
our community.
After the roar of the cannons shall have ceased
and the bombers and fighters have completed their
last mission, and when Victory shall have come to
the Allied Nations, signifying that peace and FREE-
DOM has come to all nations who so desire, we’ll
have the consolation of knowing that hundreds of
our own men in service were in the thick of every
battle doing their part.
