minute. Mix milk and 2 cups
Blsquiek well with fork. Drop
dough onto hot gravy. Cook
over low heat 10 minutes un-
covered and 10 minutes
covered. Place chicken and
dumplings in serving dish; pour
gravy over top. 4 to 6 servings.
Pineapple • Bing Cherry Salad:
Chill 1 can (14 ounces) pine-
apple chunks and 1 can (14
ounces) Bing cherries. Drain.
Add. % cup chopped pecans, *4
cup whipping cream, whipped,
and 1 tablespoon mayonnaise.
Serve on lettuce. 6 servings.
And if you’re really an old-
fashioned girt, try egg coffee:
% tablespoon beaten egg to
cup coffee before adding water.

Funeral services for James
A. Clark of Talco were held
Sunday, February 25 at 2:30
pin. at the Lake Chapel
Church. Rev. C. M. Taylor was
minister. Thterrnent was in
Fairview cemetenv.
Mr. Clark was bom Septem-
ber 29, 1876 in Tennessee. He
died February 22 at the Frank-
I n County Hospital at the age
of 91 years.
Survivors include his wife,
Mrs. J. A. Clark; three sons,
Leo Clark of Sulphur Bluff;
>ddie Clark of Talco and
'ames L. Clark of Dallas; one
daughter, Mrs. Lassie Arthur
f Kokomo, Indiana: one sis-
er. Minnie Ginn of Indiana;

annual meeting held in Dallas
Memorial Auditorium. Four
new members were elected to
the Board of Directors, and
an exciting travel incentive |
program was introduced. In
addition, there were hundreds
of colorful exhibits, enterain-
ment by popular radio and
television personalities, a ban-
quet dinner, and dancing.
