Youth Is the period of building up habits and hopes

neglected blow struck on the cold iron.—Ruskin.
Youth is a time tor growth and imagination; creativity

there are schools!
Yes. Schools are good. But schools are there
because—first—there were parents who cared; parents
who worked alongside educators 119 years ago in Texas to
build Texas schools and work to see them thrive.
Now, schools will remain because, as a parent, you feel
a responsibility to know the kind of education your child
receives; because, as a parent, you take time to keep our
schools In check; because, as a parent, you care enough to
visit your child in his classroom, March 5-9, Public
Schools Week In Texas.
Take an interest now. Your child will appreciate and
remember It. Teachers and educators will be grateful,
too.
