Older Americans

benefit «. y be through the "re-
tirement income credit" provision

These laws also allow persons
over 65 to deduct 100 percent of
their drug and medical expenses.

age may elec to exclude from
'heir income part or all of the

Light Affects
Crop Yields
Farmers may some day time
their plan ing da'es so the crops
will be heading out during the
period when the days are longest.
A Texas A&M University scien-
tist is doing extensive work which
shows that the amount and in'en-
si y of light during the critical
heading s'age plays a determining
role In rice yields. He believes
his findings may well" apply to
other major Texas crops.
