Old Glory News

A former resident of the Old
Glory community, M L Tipton of
Stamford ,died of a heart attack
last Friday morning. Funeral
services were held at the First
Baptist Church in Stamford Satur-
day. Mr. Tipton's survivors in-
clude his wife; one son, Bill of
Old Glory; two daughters, Mrs.
Tom Boyd of Stamford and Mrs.
Anita Rutherford of Abilene,
John V. Neumann died Friday
afternoon in the Veterans Hospital
in Big Spring, where he had been
a patient since April 25. Funeral
services for Mr. Neumann were
held Sunday at the /aon Lutheran
Church in Sagerton. His survivors
include his wife, three daughters,
Martha Linda and Brerula, all of
the home: one brother, Arthur of I
Slaton. a half brother, Joe Brandt
of Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. Clara
Johnson of Rosebud,, Mrs. Ellen
Weaver of San Angelo, Mrs. Ce-
cilia Howell of Houston and Miss
Elizabeth Neumann of Miami
Beach, Florida,
Saturday evening. Beverly is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L.
Gamer. They are former resi-
dents of this community and Bev-
erly attended school here. She
moved with her family to Asper-
mont while she was in high school
and graduated from Aspermont
High School. She and her husband
are both attending Texas Chris-
tian University. Her parents now
live in Iraan,

Johnny and Lisa were here to at-
'end the wedding and visited with
Mr. and Mrs. \ R. Sawyers and
! other relatives and friends while

Mr. and Mrs. fed Jennings and
i son, Tod, from Oklahoma, were
here last weekend visiting his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. W.
, Jennings and her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Buster Tredcmeyer.
Mrs. Katie Gerloff accompanied
her sister, Mrs. Pauline Fuqua of
Stamford, to Albany recently
where they visited in the home of
a niece and her husband, Mr. aad
Mrs. Byron Swank, Another sister,
Mrs. Louise Spradley of Waco, was
also there. Mrs. Gerloff then went
to Abilene and spent neveral days
with her son and his wife, Mr, and
Mrs, Raymond Gerloff.

visited his grandmother, Mrs.
Emma Gerloff. Mr. and Mrs. Ray-
mond Gerloff of Abilene also visit-
ed here Sunday.

their children, Mrs. BUI Bell, Judy
and Mark from Livingston, New
