tales, N.M., he was the son of
Thurman Royal and Lillian
Black Moore. After serving in
the U.S. Army during the
Korean Conflict, he was a gro-
cery salesman in New Mexico.
He moved to Hallsville in 1969,
where he worked at Marathon

in 1993 he retired and moved to

ber 30 in a Nacogdoches hospi-
