conference program director.

and Mrs. Fred Thomas, and
Jim Hecht, son of Mr. and
Mk. G. L. Hecht, have en-
rolled as students at Lubfbock
Christian College.
Thomas is a 1967 graduate
of Morton High School and
Hecht is a 1968 graduate of
Aspermnnt High. Thomas is
majoring in biology and Hecht
is majoring in education with
a teaching field in agriculture.
Lubbock Christian College
is a small, private, senior col-
lege offering BA and BS de-
grees in 16 majors and has a
32 per cent increase in enroll-
ment over last year.

Booster Meeting
Eighteen members attended
the weekly meeting of the
Hornet Booster Club Tuesday
evening.
A scouting report was
given on Albany and the film
of the Throckmorton-Asper-
mont ball game was shown.
James Suggs won the door
prize, which is given each
week.
The club meets every Tues-
day at 7:30 p.m. in the high
school building.

as Industry in Business Week
Magazine on March "13. Also
discussed was a computerized,
finger-tip data bank on in-
dustrial development oppor-
tunities in 438 Texas communi-
ties over 1,000 population.
WASTE ORDERS RE-
QUIRED — Texas Water
Quality Board Chairman Gor-
don Fulcher warns that waste
central orders must be ob-
tained from that agency be-
fore any type of sewage fa-
cility is built.
This applies to individuals
as well as municipalities and
other government entities.
"This is for their own pro-
tection," Fulcher said. "While
the type of facility might meet
with full approval of the
Board, there also is the pos-
sibility that it would not, and
that money spent on the fa-
cility might thus be wasted
. . . Standards vary in dif-
ferent areas of the state."
