CARD OF THANKS
As we came in to Aspermont,

Sonny, This Electric
Heating is Sure
' Sumpin !
Warms your grandad's bones
like you warm my heart.
No cold corners or drafts
No work—just flip a switch.
It's easy to convert to electric
heating without remodeling—
ask an electric heating con-
tractor for details. Low cost
operation, too.
WHAT COSTS LESS NOW THAN IN 1952?
The average cost of a kilowatt hour of electricity used by a
residential customer served by WTU cost 29% lets than it did
twenty years ago. . . . <1952 - 1972) > f
and ... in 1972 the average cus-
fomer used over three and a half VW' /
times as much electricity as he did

Tex., on Wednesday, Feb. 9,
1973, the skies were overcast
and the weather was bitter cold.
We came to lay away our daddy
Hayden Loftin. We were lonely
in this strange land and our
hearts were heavy. We were
very uncertain as to which way
to turn. As we walked into
McCoy Funeral Home, we found
we were no longer alnns in s
Suai'iijc iaflU.
The friends of our daddy were
there waiting for us. They took
us into their care and in a few
hours we knew we were among
the finest people in the world
and our burden had been lifted.
With their help all
arrangements were made and
as the result a beautiful service
was rendered in Daddy's
behalf.
So you people of Aspermont
and the ranch and farm country
around, thank you from the
bottom of our hearts.
Thank you Mr. Ross, Mr.
Thigpen, Mr. Ellison, Mr.
Billberry, Mr. Trammel, Mr.
Graham and many others that
we do not know, for your
devotion and care of our father
out at the ranch. Our thanks to
Mr. Warren Frazier for your
friendly advice and assistance
in handling Daddy's affairs.
Thanks to the Sheriff's
Department for your assistance
and direction.
Our special thanks to your
Mrs. Billberry and Mrs. Ross
for your many hours of friendly
and loving comfort you have so
unselfishly shared with me.
Our special thanks to Rev.
James Wood and your lovely
choir and for sharing with us
your lovely Baptist chapel and
for the wonderful food prepared
for us.
Yes, we came into Asper-
mont, Tex., cold and lonely and
frightened, but we now leave
with renewed hope and a
renewed faith in humanity. May
God bless your lives and your
land as you have blessed ours.
