Precinct 4 Commissioner
Don Hill has announced
that construction has
begun on county roads in
North Denton County.
“We have some new
equipment in and we hope
to do a lot of the roads
before summer is up,"
stated Hill last week.
The roads to be improved
include all or portions of
Indian Trail, Hawkeye,
Egan, Jackson, Masch
Branch, Sa, Bass. Nance.
Chisuni, Bals and Met*. A
Most of the roads are west <
of Sanger.
The current phase of the
reconstruction plan
includes approximately 20
miles of asphalt surface to
be completed by September
30. This reconstruction
plan includes tree and
brush removal, reshaping
existing drainage ditches,
replacement and extension
of culverts, plus 4 to 8
inches of compacted base
material and a 2 course
application of a chip seal
surface.
Hill states that this plan
is a major undertaking and
will involve moving over
60,000 yards of base
material.
The plan is designed to
provide a road system that
will last for many years and
is not a quick fix. There will
be considerable
inconvenience to the
residents in the areas.

scheduled roads and times

The site for the new water
well was up for discussion
once again. The mayor
presented a letter from

recommending that Sanger
use the site on McReynolds
