TURBINE GENERATOR ELECTRICITY
To heat the water, we have to bum
fuels like natural gas, oil or coal. Or we
can use the heat from a nuclear reactor.
The hardest thing about making elec-
tricity these days is making sure we have
plenty of fuel. Natural gas, currently our main fuel,
is running out.
That's why we're building new power plants
that run on cheaper, more abundant fuels — like
lignite coal and uranium.
If you'd like more information about where we
get electricity, call or write Texas Electric.
