BADGERS TO PLAY FIRST
CONFERENCE GAME FRIDAY
The Richland Springs Coyotes fur-
nish the opposition for Coach Yeary's
vastly improved Badgers in their
first conference game Friday night.
The Coyotes always play their best
game against the Badgers. Since the
Coyotes have been in the same dis-
trict with Lampasas?two games have
been won hy each team. Two of these
games were decided by first downs
and peneti at ions. Only one time has
Limpasas outscored the Coyotes and
that was two years ago when we
won 13-7.
Friday night the Coyotes will be
the underdog, as usual, but the Bad-
gers had better not get over-confi-
dent for anything might''happen in
the game of football.
A hard game is expected and after
watching the Badgeis in scrimmage
this week it appears that there will
be no let downs. The boys are in
good condition and eager for the game
time to arrive. If the Badgers keep
improving they are potential district
winners.
