3/4 cups melted butter
Spread half the flour mix-
ture in buttered square pan.
Cover with date mixture.
Spread other half of flour
mixture on top Bake at
350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Cool and cut in squares.

thick:
2 cups dates, cut fine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 Tbs. flour
Combine:
tsp vanilla
