ESTHER ROSENBERG
and HER WOMEN
Take a good look at these ladies;
you’ve probably never seen a group
like this before. What makes them so
special? Well, for one thing they rep-
resent a tremendously successful sales-
force that has none of the problems
usually associated with big business.
There’s never a strike for higher wages
(since they don’t get paid); there’s never
any complaints about hours or working
conditions (since they volunteered for
the job); and the only “benefits” they
receive are those derived from a job
well-done. Every penny that the Gift
Shop earns is immediately turned over
to the Sisterhood to purchase equipment
for the kitchens, items to beautify our
building and grounds, and hundreds of
other things to benefit each member of
Beth Yeshurun. But you can’t talk about
the Gift Shop without talking about
Esther Rosenberg, the answer to any
Gift Shop’s prayers. The thing that’s
so fantastic about her is that not only
does she donate her time, know-how,
experience, thoughts, and efforts to Us,
she makes money ! ! Who can argue
with a combination such as this? Thank
you, ladies, from the bottoms of our
hearts for the great gift you give our
synagogue . . . the gift of service.
