at St. John’s Parish in Spring Branch.
Our text deals with the Old Testament
— a subject I knew very little about.
Your aricle, ‘Genesis Story Moral Tale’
was a tremendous aid to my class on
creation.
As a whole, we Catholics are not
very well informed about the Old Tes-
tament. Tm sure I learned more than

the children because I had to prepare
each lesson before coming to class.
Your presentation of the creation as
one dealing with religious not scientific
truths is exactly what we are trying
to impart to the children.
In short, your articles have helped me
so much. Last week, “A Man of Riches”
was one I especially enjoyed. This, too,
will be incorporated in my classes. I
never really realized how close, as
Catholic and Jew, we are in basic doc-
trine. I shall continue to look forward
to your articles, and I hope you will
continue to write them.”
Sincerely,
Rita Cattrell
