SISTERHOOD AT NIGHT IS ON ITS WAY!
*
Special Youth Selichot Evening Service
There will be a special Selichot service for the youth of
Beth Yeshurun. Students attending will view the movie on
Israel at 10:30 p.m. with the adults and then go to the Chapel
for a separate service. The Youth Service will feature a
special Youth Choir and members of the Israeli Pilgrimage
will share their personal reflections with the group. The
service is being sponsored by the USY.
Beth Yeshurun Sisterhood will hold its first meeting and
luncheon of the year on Tuesday, September 21, at 10:30 a.m.
in an unusual seating arrangement in the auditorium.
The theme of the program will be “Woman ’761”, and will
be presented by Ms. Angie Grindon, M.S.W. (Master of Social
Work), counselor, of Interface, a center in the Galleria for
counseling and human interaction. Among other topics, Ms.
Grindon will be speaking to the women about taking respon-
sibility for seeing that one’s life is what one wants it to be.
It promises to be a most vital and rewarding program. A
question and answer period will follow.
The lovely sculpture of “Salome,” pictured above, will
be on display, courtesy of Hooks-Epstein Gallery.
Chairman of the day is Mrs. Bernard Katz, Program Vice-
President. Couvert for luncheon is $2.50 and reservations
may be made by calling before Friday, September 17: Mrs.
Fay Rosenthal, 774-2322; Mrs. Daniel Forbes, 723-6820; or
