the weekend sightseeing and
visiting in Sonora and San
Angelo. While in Sonora. Mrs.
Keese visited her aunt, Mrs.
Bert Rode who is past ninety.
They visited the restored Ft.
McKavett which they found
most interesting as many of
the original buildings are still
standing and some had been
used for homes, storage and
for other practical purposes
before the restoration.
While in San Angelo they
visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Randolph Birk.

The guild sponsors four
shows each year. Chairmen for
the shows are: 23rd Annual
Bluebonnet Trail. April 7-8 ,
and 14-15, Carol Tillman who
served as chairman for the fall
show 1983; Children’s and
Youth’s Art Show early in the
summer is chaired by Gerry
Gilbert and Beth Kelton; Third
Annual Judged Rodeo Show,~
May 30-31 and June 1 is
chaired by Bonnie Sekerak and
Fall Arts and Crafts Show first
weekend in November chaired
by Elaine Kruse.
The Guild is reviving an old
custom, that of having a
Valentine Game Party. The
date is not definite, but
possibly February 10. Begin
making plans and setting up
