Tribute to our Dad and Grandfather
My father was a man of positive adjectives. Everything was always "Great!" "Fantastic!" "The
best!" "Wonderful!" Even if it wasn't. He believed in the best in me and the best in everyone.
Thank you Daddy, for making me a believer!
Lynn Jones , Daughter
Thank you Daddy for your unconditional love. You are the best Dad anyone can have. You were
always there for me. I love you. Rest in peace.
Joyce Renee Carter, Daughter
Dear Lord, thank you for sharing one of your greatest gifts with me and my Family. Although it
was only for a short time, my memories will last forever. I love you Daddy and don't worry, you
taught us well.
Kimberly Anderson, Daughter
My Grandfather was the only good man I know! He was the best man I know. My Grandfather is
what I would want my son to be like and my son's son to be like, Christ like. I'm his first
Grandchild and he is the first person I have lost this close to me. My Grandpa is the good in me.
He wasn't just a good man, he was a great man!
Andrea Jones, Granddaughter
"Another wonderful day, another opportunity to excel, another chance to do good, another chance
to help somebody". My Grandfather said these words almost every day, when I was growing up.
Honestly, at the time I didn't think much of these words, but now they will always be with me. My
Grandfather was always there to lend a hand. He cared for other people more than he cared for
himself. I will always remember him as an essential part of our family, an essential part of this
church, a leader and a walking testament of God's love.
Brian Carter, Grandson
A man of good character. A man of faith. A man of family. A man of his word. A true
embodiment of a real man and he will be missed.
Adrienne Nicole Jones, Granddaughter
I love that Grandpa cared about his family and taught me how to be a man. Grandpa always told
me that it's important to be in church and to pray. I love that he loves his family to the point that
he only wants the best for them. Grandpa taught me to not give up on myself and to keep trying to
get better in everything that I do.
Michael Anderson, Grandson
The true definition of what a Grandfather should be, loving, caring and understanding. My
Grandfather was a strong Christian man who put his faith in God first, and taught all of us to do the
same as well as be humble and grateful for all blessings.
Monique Anderson- Granddaughter
