Ambrosio Seballos
Ambrosio Seballos, 72, of Anson died Wednesday morning
at Anson General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Rosary was at 7:30 p.m., Thursday. Funeral Mass was as 2:00
p.m., Friday at St. Michael’s Church, Anson with the Rev.
Boniface Riedman officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery,
Anson, directed by Kinney Funeral Home of Stamford.
He was bom December 7,1921, in Seguin, the son of the late
Donizio Seballos and Julia Garcia Seballos.
Mr. Seballos moved to Anson in 1043. He farmed and worked
for the City of Anson in the maintenance Department.
He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the army. He was a
member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Survivors are three daughters, Senaida Mojica of Clovis, NM. to enter.
Mana Anchondo and Elenor Ybanez, both of Bakersfield, CA;
six sisters, Frances Seballos, Lupe S. Jiminez and Thomasa S.
Galvan, all of Anson, Nellie Rodela of Abilene, Mary Jimenez
of Breckenridge and Josephina Aguero of Dal las; three brothers,
Henry Seballos of Anson, Jessie Seballos of Abilene and
Emelio Seballos, Sr. of Coleman; nine grandchildren; and
several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: Joe S. Jimenez, Jesse Jimenez, Robert
Seballos. Emelio Seballos Fr., N. Flores, and Denny S. Galvan.
