Tic-Douloureux & Rheumati? Pains
in tho Head and Face!
EXTRAORD1NAY CURE.
Mrs. Harriet O’Donnel, a lady of pro-
perty, residing in Union street, Plymouth,
states in a letter to Professor Halloway,
dated November 20th 1852, that she was
afflicted for nearly five years with fre-
quent and violent attacks of Tic-doulour-
cux, and Rheumatic pains in the head,
neck, and face, and that at timesj her agonv
was so great as to make her despair of ob-
taining a cure. Medical aid had imj effect
whatever, in alleviating her sufferings. The
attacks left her in a weak and debilitated
condition, and so impaired her bodily health
that she was reduced almost to a skeleton.
A friend at length recommended her to try
Holloways Pills, which she did, and after
persevering with them for about a month,
taking them at such times as she felt the
attack approaching, the disease was entirely
eradicated, and she was restored to conva-
lescence. Thia is now two years ago, and
no relapse whatever has occurred to inter-
rupt her enjoyment of good health. ’

The Tournament of Death.
DAVIS’S-ARNICA LINIMENT.
“King death, be Held a tournament, and summoned
io his Cour,
A troop of fell discuses, to afford him royal sport!
The lists were set, the court was met, and in the
the foremost place,
De«pn;r, as queen of horrors, displayed her awful
face.
The trumpets sounded—they were made of boliuw
human bones,
And champions rod© into th© ring to the music of
deep grvans!
First the night of Sprain did fling, his gauntlet
down,
But the kuigut .Arnica Limuicnt, did overthrow
h.m soon. 1
I hen sir Rkcuinutisin rod© in, his stinging lance
- to thrust,
But Ins painful armor Arnica Liniment soon hurled
into the dust;
Now boldly came the knight of 8urflt, wiih hcrce
and angry eye.
But before the brav^sir Arnica he soon whs forced
to fly !
Next came Baron Fracture, and by hi* aide ruda
Ulcer fierce, *
Yet Arnica Liniment right valiantly did them like
chaff disperse;
A hundred other evil knights, came on his strength
to try,
But met by Arnita Liniment they perished instantly.
Then cried king Death, •» suspend the fight, for
plainly do I see |
That Arnica Liniment, undaunted knight, makes
every foe to fl< © !
Then rode that champion from the lists, but still
with lance and shield,
In ship© of Davih.s Arnica Liniment he boldly
takes field.”

To Professor Holloway,
44 Sir,—It gives me great pleasure

the wonderful efficacy of your truly inval-

erable period from a severe attack of Ery-

medical treatment, .
vety great, and I almost
despaired of a cure, w hen I was advfoed to
have recourse to your Ointment and Pilis,
and to follow the rules for diet, Ac., as
prescribed in your printed directions. I
did so without delay, and am happy to say
the result was eminently successful, for
they have effected a radical cure of toy leg
and restored me to the enjovment of per-
fect health und strength. 1 s£aU ever speak
w’iih the utmost confidence of your medi-

in this neighborhood similarly afflicted, and
with the like ^success.
