2 cups cut-up, fully cooked smoked ham
1 c. shredded natural Swiss cheese (4 oz.)
1/3 c. chopped green onions
1/4 c. chopped parsley, oregano and/or dill
4 eggs
2 c. milk ■’ 1
1 c. biscuit mix
1/4 t. salt, if desired
1^8 t. freshely ground Hack pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 10x11/2-inch pie plate.
Sprinkle ham, cheese and onions in plate. Beat remaining
ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1
minute with hand beater. Pour into plate. Bake until golden brown
and knife inserted in center comes out clean, 35-40 minutes. Cool
5 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
OAT/PECAN PRALINE COOKIES
1 c. butter, softened
114 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 T. molasses
1 t. maple flavoring
114 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
21/2 c. oats, uncooked
1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
34 c. pecan halves

PIZZA ROLL-UPS
8 frozen rolls, thawed
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/2 c. finely diced pepperoni
1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
Egg glaze: 1 egg, beaten with 1 tsp. water
On lightly floured surface, roll each roll into a circle 4-5 inches in
diameter. Top with 1 tablespoon sauce, 1 tablespoon pepperoni
and 1 tablespoon cheese. Roll up tightly. Pinch seams to seal.
Place rolls 2-3 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Brush
each with egg glaze, and top with remaining cheese. Let roils
rise until puffy. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 15- 20
minutes. Remove from tray and let cool. Makes 4 servings of 2
rolls each.

In large mixer bowl, beat butter with brown sugar until light and
fluffy, eat in eggs, molasses and maple flavoring Add combined
flour and Miring soda; mix well. Stir in oats and chopped nuts;
mix wdl. Corer; chill at least 1 hour. Preheat own to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease cookie sheets Shape dough into 1- inch balls
Place 3 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Flatten each
bail by pressing a pecan half in the center. Bake 10-12 minutes
until deep golden brown. Remove immediately » wire rack; cool
completely.

Warren. We always appreci-
ate all these great people who
make for a good Birthday
Party.

week for National Nursing
Home Week. A good 42 Tbur-
nament, watch for the win-
ners next week. Friday, Child
- Care is coming to visit for
sack lunches and adopting
a grandparent. Wednesday is
Joy Makers Band. Thursday
. Singers will be here Thurs-
« day afternoon and then that
evening. Western Hills will
say thanks to our Volunteers,
those special folks.
Friday at 10:30 will be Bible
Study and we’ll add popcorn
X and ice cream to these fun
days. We hope we’ll see you as
a good visitor.
