is so important to create an envi-
ronment that promotes the love of
reading at home as well as in
school. Not only is reading nec-
essary for survival in today’s
world, it is educational, it sparks
imagination, it is a stress reliever,
provides entertainment and enjoy-
ment, the list goes on.
Here are a dozen ideas to help
you help your child love reading.
1) The most important thing a
parent can do to teach a child to
love reading is for the parent to
let the children see how much you
love reading. You need to set the
example.
2) Set aside a time each day
when everyone in the family
reads. Perhaps it is for half an
hour after school or before bed
every day. Be consistent.
3) Read to your children. Even
after they are old enough to read the parent and child should each

V A Story About th& Womcuv I Love,
The first time I ever met her, she took my eye and
my heart. I thought she was the most beautiful woman
in the world.
I had a lot of good times through the years. The
memories that I nave are good, not bad. She still to this
day is the most beautiful thing in the world
I miss her beautiful smile. I miss looking into the
most beautiful cues that I've ever seen. Just hearing her
voice makes my heart tremble.
I didn't know love would hurt this much, but it does
when she's gone. She was my companion.
She's been by my side when I've been down, and I
her's. The strong love and bond that we had was once
there, but it's gone now. Where it is I don't know. I've
lost it. Can somebody help me find it? I love her and
miss.her and want her back. Life is too short. V
