l>oes anyone else have the trouble we have with those
doggoned never give up labela and stickera that manufac
tufers now fasten to every kind of product, usually tn the
must prominent spot? These persistent little rascals are
one of our pet peeves. On dishes and water glasses they are
always right in the wrong place and practically require
sandpapering to remove. And even then, remains a dull
spot. Our latest case in point is the recent purchase of a
pair of safety glasses. The label, centered squarely in the
middle of the lens, went into great detail on what a fine
product we had made but told us nothing about removal. In
a half an hour of frenzied effort we tried: warm water,
, plain soap., window cleaner, dish washer detergent, and
finally, in desperation^ finger nail polish remover. Thia
took the label off but left a brown square right where we
look In frustration, thia problem is now taking first place
over safety caps, which we finally licked by keeping a pair
of pliers in the medicine cabinet!

Ambulance services everywhere have occasional
murderer fainted in Court and the Judge sent out a
hurry up call for medical assistance. But the man lay

anyone arrived The ambulance attendants then carted him
out the front door, with TV cameras grinding, but the
ambulance was at the back door They rushed him back
through the Court house to the rear, but the ambulance had
now gone to the front entrance Baek again with the
stretcher to the front, but the ambulance missed the
entrance and had to circle the block before the patient was

handily and back he went to the old lock up for another day
