The March 31st Donor Luncheon and Style Show pre-
sented by Beth Yeshurun Sisterhood is fast approaching
sellout. Over 200 volunteers are working on DONOR ’81 —
RAINBOW OF DOLLS, Sisterhood’s only fund-raising event
of the year.
The program will feature lovely fashions from Sakowitz.
Mr. Robert Sakowitz, store owner, will be directing the
extravaganza, as well as, acting as commentator. The en-
sembles collected for the event by Mr. Robert Kalbfleisch,
Sakowitz’ fashion co-ordinator, will reflect Sakowitz’ “State-
ment for Spring and Summer.”
Models for the event have been taken from Sisterhood’s
own “Dolls,” its membership. They primarily are past Donor
chairmen and past presidents. Modeling the beautiful clothes
that go from day wear to evening wear are Rabbi and Mrs.
Jack Segal and Rabbi and Mrs. Steve Grundfast. Also model-
ing are Helen Berger, Tybe Bernstein, Bebe Cohen, Sara
Daniels, Freida Dow, Esther Fox, Frances Friedman,
Barbara Goldfield, Barbara Horwitz, Miriam Joachim,
Diane Kaminsky, Gerri Karkowsky, Sondra Katz, Selma
Leff, Judy Magids, Pat Markowitz, Manet Schepps, Janice
Selzer, Fran Spector, Shirley Stein, Shirley Warshaw, and

family will be modeling. They are husband, Stuart Jacobson,

will be the families of Donor Chairmen, Bobbi Asarch,
Janice Gerber and Cheryl Golub. They include Tom Asarch,
Scott, Todd and Tracy, and David Gerber, Jonas, Matthew
and Melissa, and Steve Golub, Jeff, Lenny and Jennifer.
Seating arrangements for this gala gourmet luncheon is a
monumental task since over 700 are expected to attend. The
able Seating Chairmen are Barbara Horwitz, Annette
Sondock, Lynn Goldberg and Marlene Rosenthal.
Sue Jacobson, as Room Design Chairman, is in charge of
turning Pulaski-Rauch Auditorium into a springtime de-
light. Sara Daniels, is very ably producing the colorful
