There will be games of all sorts, horse shoe
pitching contest, cake walks, arts and crafts,
food, plants, books, odds and ends, records
and many, many other things on display and
for sale. You'll have a chance to swing the
pitching arm and dunk the sharming swingers,

will provide or contribute, get in touch with
Chairman Evelyn Webb - 266-1784 or Willie
Purcell - 266-1280 or Margaret Oliver - 266-

Purpose of the event, naturally, is to help
sustain the H.B. Volunteer Fire Dept. These
ladies of the auxiliary are most anxious to
acquaint you with the functions of the VFD as
well as to provide incentive for present and
new members to give liberally - and promptly
in paying 1973 dues or becoming new member:
so that they may meet their growing budg-
etary needs for the coming year. They firmly
believe that a well equipped and properly in-
spired volunteer fire fighting force in this
community is essential and vital to proper
protection of lives and property. You can
prove that you care and want to support this
idea by being present. REMEMBER THE DATE

I reported some while ago I could hear wed-
ding bells. They rang last Saturday. The eld-
est of my six grandsons Gary Millhollon and
Gail Princess Garrett daughter of Dr. and Mrs.
Sidney Garrett were married in a beautiful
ceremony in her home in Hale Center. After
a short honeymoon in Colorado they will re-
turn to Austin to attend U.T. where Gail is a
junior and Gary is a senior majoring in Public
Relations.
