HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
LEA & MILTON LEVIT!
A hearty mazel tov to Leah and
Milton Levit on the occasion of their
fortieth wedding anniversary. That’s
what a small group of friends said
when they presented the Levit’s a leaf
on the Simcha Tree for this very
special occasion. The Simcha Tree is
in the lobby of our synagogue and
proudly “sprouts” many simchas of
members of Beth Yeshurun.
The Levits were married in 1947 in
Jacksonville, Florida. They returned to Houston where they
have lived ever since. They both have been very active in the
Jewish community and Milton has been a major part of
Grocer’s Supply, a wholesale grocery company, for forty-one
years. The Levits have 6 children and eleven grandchildren.
The Levit’s will always be reminded of that special day in
their lives when they enter Beth Yeshurun. You too can
remember a special occasion for yourself, a relative or friend
with the purchase of a leaf on the Simcha Tree. The
contribution of $500 is tax deductible, of course. Call the
synagogue office today for more information at 666-1881.
