Shabbat Candlesticks & Candles
for College Coeds
We will stay open on December 9th
9:30 - 12:30 noon and 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.
This past week, Beth Yeshurun once again sent to our college
freshman girls two Shabbat candlesticks, a supply of candles, a
pamphlet containing the blessings, and a pushke for charity.
The “Shabbat Packet” is to enable our students to be able to
observe the Shabbat even though they are far away from their
homes and families. It is hoped that all Beth Yeshurun parents
have submitted the names and addresses of their daughters to
Rabbi Segal’s office for the college letters and packets.
