at Beth Yeshurun’s
Annual Chanukah Dinner
and Talent Show!
Tuesday, December 3 6:30 PM
in the Pulaski-Rauch Auditorium
On the following Friday nights there will only be 6:00 p.m.
E.S.P. Services — no 8:00 p.m. Friday services.
The next meeting will be on Sunday afternoon, November
17th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Judaica Museum. Plan to spend
a fun afternoon with Rabbi Ted Sanders. Rabbi Sanders is a
gifted and humorous storyteller. Come and join us for a
delightful afternoon of humor. Refreshments will be served.
Kids! Don’t Forget Your “Toys for Joy”!
Every youngster in our schools has been asked to
bring a gift-wrapped new toy to the Chanukah party,
which will be given to a child in one of our Houston
hospitals. Be sure to indicate if your gift is for a boy or
a girl, and for what age group it’s appropriate. What a
truly happy way to celebrate the holiday!
For more information, call Rabbi Yattah, 666-1881
Our Beth Yeshurun Schools are going all out this
year to spread Chanukah happiness throughout the
congregation. Yes, everyone’s invited to join our
youngsters and their parents for a super supper and a
talent show starring our wonderful, versatile kids.
The festivities will get off to a delicious start with a
vast repast of spaghetti, salad, and Chanukah latkes,
topped off by cookies and soft drinks. Ruth Schechter’s
Day School Choir will provide the musical entertain-
ment, singing everyone’s favorite Chanukah songs.
And promptly at 7:00 p.m., Rabbi Segal, Rabbi Yattah
and Alan Rusonik will light the candles for the third
night of Chanukah.
