award.
The Award is presented in conjunction
with the Torah Fund event; an annual
event to promote awareness and raise
funds for the Jewish Theological
Seminary and its subsidiaries. The
Seminary is the backbone of Conservative
Judaism; it is the most important educa-
tional and religious institution to meet the
growing needs of the Conservative move-
ment. The money Women’s League,
(through its Sisterhoods), raises, accounts
for nearly 20% of the annual operating
budget of the Seminary. In other words,
the Seminary could not exisQ^rithout the
Torah Fund campaign.
The theme for this year’s Torah Fund
Campaign is “B’khol L’vavha” which
means “With all your Heart”, which
perfectly describes Myrna Rudolph’s com-
mitment to Judaism. This expression is
handsomely symbolized by the Torah
Fund Benefactor pin, which is available to
anyone who contributes as the $150.
Benefactor level.

The very special recipient of this
year’s Martha Lea Stein Memorial Award
