membership has been divided into

This organization is doing much
good for the young men of this <Uy.
It has encouraged them to take a
more serious view of life’* responsi-
bilities, in that they realize that oth-
ers are taking an interest in them and
and explain Hw miny|wat hlng their development. This
cause* the individual to raise his
standard of living. It make* a young
man appreciate the influence be brs
over others, /and cause* him to try o
interest other young men to break
away from "the old gang" and take infant twine, and the other dead child
a better stand in life, and to select
better associates.
At present there are some boys In
our town who are leading lives that
are far from right, and the Christian
boy does not care to associate with
these boys while they continue to in-
dulge in their worthless ways. This
Young Men's Union has inspired in
the hearts of its members a good
feeling for these boy*, and the desire
to encourage them to turn from their
present way of living and try to adopt
and maintain a higher standard.
Since the*e young men are working
to canvass the whole city, sooner or
later they are going to reach you, and
whenever they do. please be prepared
to consider th* matter they bav*
to place before you.
