Coach George Kieffer’s basket-

Mrset over the highly-touted Texas
Wesleyan Rams Saturday night in
Memorial Gymnasium. This was
the first conference victory for
the Lutherans this season.
TLC’s Ralph Warner paced the
raL Bulldog scorers as he sank eight

h Bulldog scorers were Clifton Nau-

each, and Billy Graeber with 11

A Texas Wesleyan rally late in
the final quarter cut the margin
to eight points and made Bulldog
boosters uneasy, but stalling action
by the Lutherans iced the game.
Jerry Buck and J. Bridges of
Texas Wesleyan with 13 points a

the visitors. Ram center B. Minnis

INTRAMURAL PLAY RESUMED,
3 TEAMS LOSE NO CONTESTS
Men’s intramural teams saw ac-
tion Monday night, January 4,
when basketball play was resumed
after the holidays, according to
Dave Wecht, chairman of the in-
tramural group. Four games were
played in Memorial Gym, Wecht
stated.
Top floor North Hall
South Hall 50-24; West Side beat
town 26-22; East Side whipped
Klorofil Kottage 67-37; and bot-
tom floor North Hall defeated
Kozy Korner 39-29 in Monday
night’s tilts.
Three of the eight teams in the
league boast perfect records. These
are West Side, East Side, and
top floor of North Hall. Kozy
Korner and bottom floor of North
Hall each have one win and one
loss. Teams representing town,
South Hall, and Klorofil Kottage
have failed to break into the win
column.
