The decline was regarded by oil
executives gathering here for their
annual meeting of the American
Petroleum Institute as a bullish
market factor.«
Some believed a general crude
price advance would come between
June 1 and July 1. Storage has
been reduced by more than 7 per
cent compared to the correspond-
ing period last year. Although de-
mand for crude oil is less than this
period last year, consumption ot
gasoline and oil continued as a fav-
orable market factor.

Return to Jobs
Approval Of the plan to sell
32500 in bonds to finance the im-
provements needed to make the air-
port on the Tyler highway a credit
to Rujk County, was given last
night at a meeting of the board
of directors of the Henderson
Chamber of Commerce.
There will be 250 shares at »10
each offered to the public. Pro-
moters of the airport are seeking
ass stance in this manner on a
semi-business and civic pride basis.
The amount of return on the bonds
will of course be governed: by the
proceeds of the airport operations.
The backers are confident that the
project will go over but are not
emphasizing the bond investment
as a strictly business venture, "but
are calling attention to the civic
side of the matter.
The stock certificates will be
placed on sale during the coming
week. Pledges for a considerable
number of shares have already been
made by several progressive citi-
zens.
