1'he todies of the Missionary Society
of the Methodist Church held their
social meeting last Tuesday afternoon
with Mrs. P. B. McNatt A large num-
ber of todies were present and all
seemed to enjoy themselves immense-
ly. We had a fine musical program;
the performers being numbered with
the beat talent of the town.
Mias Katie Hargett and Harry Ditto
each favored us with a violin solo,
and then a duet. Mr*. Lawrence and

plans for the 1917 Fair, October 18-28,
are the most complete and extensive
that have ever been made for a State
Fair in the United States of America.
There is no department of the great
exposition which has not been im-
proved or extended for the coming
fair. Several new structures
been erected and in others facilities
for exhibitions have been improved.
Premiums Largely Increased.
