Burlington North Santa Fe Railway
crews plan to replace tracks at the Main
Street and Garnett Street railway cross-
ings in Gainesville beginning Monday,
April 25.
The railroad crossings at these streets
will be closed as the new tracks are laid,
according to a news release from the city
of Gainesville.
Some of the work is scheduled to be
performed at night.
The crossings are expected to reopen
Wednesday, April 27.
BNSF Railway operates a rail network
of 32,500 route miles in 28 states and
three Canadian provinces, according to
bnsf.com.
