Shiza Shahid shared her mesmerizing story of her life as a young girl
in Pakistan and her efforts to save her friend, Malala, when she was
shot in the face by the Taliban for wanting to further her education.
President Joyce Rosenfield commented, “We are very grateful to the
donors and sponsors who have enabled us to expand our programs
so that we can serve more people in the Dallas community in the
coming year.” To date, total revenues received exceed $450,000 and
are approaching $500,000.
