send all we can. More important,
- however, is sending a trained
_ man and his wife here as a mis-«
sionary. These people just natur-
. ally look for leadership, and they
especially look to Americans as
i leaders. One good preacher and
his wife could do more over here
than 500 can in the States."
Also Brother S. K. Dong says:
“We need American missionary
right now, soon if possible."
Abilene Christian College will
provide tuition and fees, and
room and board for Sister Dong.
She will probably do some work
for, the college in return.
■ Much food and clothing and
financial support is .urgently
needed in Korea. Please send
food and clothing packages to/
S. K. Dong; 1-375 N. AreHyun

ular supports,- totaling 30 dollars
per month are being sent. Please
send financial help to: Willie
Perkins, Station A, Box 683, Abi-
lene, Texas or J. K. Shipman. an
elder of the North Side Church .
in Abilene, who has agreed to re-
ceive funds for this work.

This is the building of the church in Livingston, Mont., which the min-
ister. Marion Lewis, built practically single handed from material which he
got from dismantling a school building. Support js badly needed for Brother
Lewis and also help on the building which they need to get finished as soon
as possible. The church there consists of only 10 members representing thretj
families.
Livingston, Mont
Completes House
But Needs Help
The church in Livingston, Mont.,
lias completed their building except
for the stuc-'', landscapin’ and plumb-
ing. Although they are meeting in
the building now, there is no plumb-
ing in it at all and it is going to be
a heavy item as they must cross their
neighbor’s lots to reach the sewer.
They have been able' to make
this showing with a comparative-
ly small outlay of actual money
only because tho minister. Marion
Lewis, erected this building prac-
tically single handed with some
lumber from a school building
which he dismantled.
While he was doing this, much of
his support was slow and cost of liv-
ing was rising His wife supplemented
their ‘income by taking in washing.
Now the doctor tells her that she has
overdone and must cut down on the
work she is doing. This means that
Brother Lewis will have to get work
to support his family.
“It seems near tragedy to lose a
man equipped as he is to do the
work here in Montana when we need
workers so badly. Of course, his get-
ting a job would not mean that he
was quitting work for the church but

It will be sent on immediately.
Will we continue, to neglect these
people? Won’t you take this mat-
ter up with your congregation?

er Lewis and the rest of us will do
the work which is the expensive part
of any. construction. We have ten
membe-s (three families) and our
present contributions are taken up
with payments on our furnace, etc.,”
said Brother Fuller.
Contributions jnay be sent'to W..
H. Fuller, Box 917, Livingston, Mon/
Sister Binion also said: “She is
a graduate of Ehwa College for
Women in Seoul. I believe it is
also equally important to send
our Brother Lee, who is a very
devout Christian and would make
a good preacher." We do need to
school of Berletx to learn Italian.
'T'his school is known all over the
world. 1'he instructors say I can learn
the language in 30 day*. It is cost-
ing me to go, but it will be worth
every cent to me, if I can learn as
fast as they say I can.
FOURTEEN MEMBERS IN ”
FRASCATI
Now a little about the church
in Frascati. It has 14 members,
have our services every Lord’s
same as in the States. We are now'
setting up our budget. We now have
in the. treasury about 9^95 and the
n>inimum cuiililtiUlion each Sypufay
is |78 and will usually be more. It
will be like any other congregation,
a building fund, etc. We are
putting 'so much for missiori
work in other parts of the world.
AMERICAN FOOD NEEDED
1 will say this in closing, that we
would appreciate American foods.
Any kind of canned meats, canned
vegetables, American cheese, or any-
thing you would care to send. If you
want to send something, send to K.
D. Pittman, Casella Postale, Erascati,
Italy. It takes about two months for
a package to get here, at least a
month. Packages sent should be wrap-
ped very well. Clothing is still need-
ed. The home receives clothing pack-
ages pretty often.' We give away a
lot of clothing. We clothe an aver-
age of 50. people per day. The home
ha* received some food packages
which are always welcome. Dried
beans, rice, sugar, flour, shortening,
canned goods, cheese, dried fruits,
soap, and oatmeal have been sent.
Some of these things should‘be wrap-
ped extra well. Sometimes, red beans
and white beans and rice are mixed
together. Sometimes sugar and oat-
meal. ;
The building is very fortunately
located in a fast growing section of
town and tin' the main highway to
the Yellowstone National Park, just
57 miles from the North Gate which
makes this the most convenient con-
gregation for Brethren touring the
Park in summer.
“We would like to finish thia job.
And to any congregation or individ-
ual wishing to help, we can promise
by sending y«* re-

are told the day and the hour to
come to receive clothing.
When we give them the clothing,
we also invite them to come here to
study the Bible, and to bring their
child-"” on Sundays to Bible School.
The children’s Bible class on Sunday
morning is taught by Sister McPher-
son. She uses the flannel board, which
is very effective. Some of - these peo-
ple do not like to be Catholics and
many of them never go to church.
They want something better, but they'
are afraid. The Catholics are telling
them no to come hete to' get clothi/tf,
bcause it ih used and carries ge/ms.
Tbi?y tell them not to take the idoth-
ing. and if they do they will pe put
in purgatory. ^Iso when we first
came to Frascati we saw hardly any
priests, j»ow we see them by the
dozens. You. of course, know why.
The Catholics are now giving a free
them not to come here to get clothing,
because it is used and carries germs,
here. Up to now, there have been no
persecutions. Some think there will
l>e in the future. We have heard that

he/e in Italian.
/ CLASSES EVERY NIGHT
' We have Bible study classes every
night of the week. Some nights we
have two classes at one time.eWe do
•not have much space, not until the
main building is completed. I have
two classes on Tuesday, one at three
and one at six-thirty. In each class
there Is a translator. We speak in
English and then it is translated in
Italian. Only two of the workers
speak Italian, Sister McPherson and
Brother Linscott. The rest are learn-
