the meeting will open with a busi-
ness session in the science audito-
rium of the college At this time
those not bringing picnic lunches
from home may purchase tickets
for the meal to be spread at noon
for 10 cents
After "sight-seeing" tours of the
campus, the T 8. C W methods
class will direct games until the
lunch hour. Exhibits planned for

Reports of the past several days
indicate the Infestation of green-
bugs that has plagued small grains
fanners in western Denton County
Is now on the wane, leaving heavy
damage in its wake.
At the State Experiment Station.
Supt. P B Dunkle estimated wet
weather and Insects together have
cut the prospective oats yield to 50
per cent of normal west of Den-
ton
Wheat he did not believe as bad-
ly hurt by weather, little if any
damage by insects so far —
outlook is for a Denton
wheat crop 80 to 90 per cent of nor-
mal. Dunkle predicted.
Chief concern caused by the con-
tinued rains is still Ute delay to
field work on farms Cotton grow-
ers particularly are worried about
yet grounds that prevent their re-
breaking land and getting it
oondiuon for planting.
