a white Moen cloth. At the noon
hour dinner was served. The
menu was composed of fried chick-
en. roagt, dressing,' giavy.' hafn,
macaroni and cheese, megt loaf,
salads, peas, green beans, potatoes,
rtckles, pies, sakes and tea. /

versaUan,,.
Pfc Dillard, who left for ser-
vice in the U. S. Marine Corps,
in September, 1M1. was stationed
in California before going over-
seas on March 3g. HR Re took
part In two major IffitUgB—Bou-
gainville apd New Georgia in the
Southwest Pacific.He returned to
the states on March 31, 1M4.

by the president Mrs Fat Nichols.
After roll call, the secretary’s re-
port was given. During the busi-
ness session Mrs. Nichols was
elected to represent the club at the
State Convention.
Mrs. W A. Bela gave an In-
teresting talk on ‘ Women of the
Bible" and she gave many ex-
amples of true character such as
that of Sarah. Ruth and Esther,
who showed real heroism and loy-
alty in their Uvea.
IXrs. Odem told of the trees
menticned tn the Bible, and Mrs.
A. J. Weamer gave a long list of
birds spoken of in the Bible and
which are In this country today;
