The Gainesville opera house has been
leased for Thursday, January 6, on the
evening of which day will be shown the
Fourth Safety Picture Show, a feature
picture with prologue. This entertain-1
nient will not only be entertaining but
* instructive sad fully up to the standard
of other years. It is given for Santa Fe
employes and their families, and the
general public, and is entitled to a gen
erous attendance. Being a railroad I
show it will begin on time, and late ar-
rivals will not be seated except during
change of reels.
The picture is brought to Gainesville
by the Santa Fe railway company in an
effort to better acquaint the general
public with the magnitude of the mova-
ment to safeguard the lives of employes
and patrons of this railroad, through the
“safety first” method. High officials of
the Santa Fe from Chicago and other
cities will accompany the picture and
> give interesting sidelights on the sub-
jest while the re^ls are in motion. Those
unacquainted with the great work which
has been and is being done owe it to
themselves to attend this free entertain-
ment, which will start at 8 o’clock
Thursday evening. Remember, there is
no charge for admission.
