Mrs. W. E. Anderson entertain-
ed with a lawn party Monday af-
ternoon at the home, 959 N. Mar-
shall, complimenting her small
soi, Bobby, on his fifth birthday.
Many of the honoree's little
friends were invited to share tho
joyous occasion and were given
balloons and police whistles as
favors. They showered their little
host with many useful and lovely
girts that will be reminders of
one of the major events in his
young life.
Following the outdoor games
on the lawn they gathered around
the table which was centered with
tire large white birthday cake
topped with five green lighted
candles, and sang the happy birth-
day song. Refreshments were
carried out in a green and white
theme and served to Neva Nell
and Barbara Ann Wright, Kath-
eiyn and Ellen Adelle Alcorn,
Jeiry Kolb, Lawrence Bailey; Joe,
Jimmy Jean and Bud Warren,
Gloria and Barbara Ann Boze-
man, Charles Ray Secrest, Billie
and Elizabeth McCoy, Mary Dell
McKean, Julia Kate Harris, Janie
Ruth Ingram, Billie Ruth Teek,
and Bobble Anderson.

the afternoon.

of playlet entitled, “Books That
Chart the Trail" was presented
by Mrs. Florence Orr, Misses
Lillian, Katie Mae, Eloise and An-
na Lou Watson.
