Council (Reports
Secretary, Peggy Anne Vosseler [L/66]: The 2018
Election Ballot is enclosed with this issue. Please follow the
instructions as indicated. Thank you for participating!
Unit Representative Committee, Geoff Lackey [L/23]:
I received an email from the Association that I forwarded to
all Unit Rep’s. Jackie Schadock, our rep for the 43rd, lost
her husband in March of this year. So let’s please keep Jackie
and her family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult
time.
Also, I will be the ‘unofficial’ coordinator of this year’s
Memorial Service, which means I’ve reminded the URs of the
organization of the service; the UR (or someone they assign)
will read the names of those who have passed in the past year,
while having someone available to ‘dip’ their unit flag while
the names are read.
Of course, our URs are all seasoned pros at this, but I
thought it a good idea to send out a reminder anyway.
And for those who may not know, this year’s Unit Rep
Breakfast will be on Friday, July 20, at 7:30 am. I’m looking
forward to seeing everyone there!
Outreach Committee, Bob Scherer [L/66]: This month
I heard from two members. I’ve written about Susan Lidell

Happy May to all you folks who have been waiting for
spring. We especially rejoice with the Hellcats and Kittens in
the eastern and north eastern parts of the country. Surely there
are people in other parts of this land who have been saying,
“Bring on the winter” and, “Where is the snow? There is no
justice, we are crying for something ‘wet’ and those eastern
people are hogging all the wet stuff. Taint Fair.” All kidding
aside, it has been a strange winter no matter where you live,
but Spring has Sprung, the Flowers has Riz. I wonder where
the Flowers Iz?
At 1312 Alford, Fort Collins, CO, it has been a drought,
not only in weather, but also in communication with Hellcats,
Hellkittens, and Legacy members. One line of communication
