that 11,000 American troops
and their famines were still
in the country and that
Ambassador Henry Cabot
Lodge had recently arrived
with his tamtty there.
"If these people are will-
ing to go to that country and
take their families there for
the sake of 'Old Glory’ and
upon the President’s orders,”
Hall says, "we surely can do
no leas for the Lord."
He says if the door is Anal-
ly shut and he is refused
entrance into the country he
will then make plans — to
either continue his work with
the college in Michigan, or
to become a missionary in
another country. But he is
very definitely not giving up
yet.

toe wonderful amount of good
done and sacrifices made. There
is no doubt that much mission-
ary work needs yet to be done
in America but to preach the
gospel to the entire world in this
generation yik require the ef-
forts of several hundred more
preachers and the doubling of
who.stay at home.
I also want to commend those
faithful Christians in the Armed
Forces during, and since. World
War II who have had such a
targe part in preaching to the
tost in the countries in which
they were stationed. Several of
them have returned to civilian
life, prepared themselves, and
gone back to those foreign lands
to serve their Lord and Master.
I can remember during my
tour of service in War II of
reading, and hearing, state-
ments from preachers and oth-
ers condemning those Christians
I who had elected to serve their
I country, but God uses Christ-
ians in various ways and capa-
cities, to do His work and some-
times greet blessings come
from wars and other disasters.
