MOORE. Okla — The church
at Moore will conduct a seven
day moating April 19 25 with
Roy Lanier, Jr., of Lakeland.
Fla., doing the preaching.
Lanier previously preached for
the Central church in Norman.
Preparations for this meeting
have been underway for some
time. A house to house census
will be taken by the church
immediately prior to the meet-
ing and advertising for the meet-
ing will be left io each house.
The church has had 24 bap-
tisms this year already as well
as seven restorations and 15
people to identify themselvea.
"Because of the continuing
wonderful response to the gospel
we expect our greatest meet-
ing yet**, Mid Ed Smithson,
Moore preacher.
Everyone has a cordial in-
vitation to visit us during the
week of April l*-25.
Great Things . . .
(From Inside Frbnt Cover)
served to let congregations know that their capacity
in Bible School has not been reached previously.
The churches of Christ are getting a lot of fine
publicity in the area, as a result of this drive. The
church is presenting a better image of Christianity all
the time. We are confident that in the weeks that
lie ahead, the congregations will be feeling the impact
of this great movement.
On March 15th, Alan Bryan presented an ail-day
workshop at the Fidelity Book store presenting les-
sons designed for “A Worker For The Lord”. He
dealt with the work of elders, teachers, deacons and
preachers. His lessons were well presented, and it is
our feeling that all who attended gained new spiritual
energy. Each will desire to do a more efficient job
for the Lord in His church.
There are 70,000 Negroes in the Oklahoma City
area, the majority without Christ. , Among the five
congregations there are presently less than 20 class-
rooms to meet their needs. The group meeting at
612 North Massachusetts with Clyde Muse as preach-
er, are purchasing the 36th and Prospect church build-
ing. The bulk of the monev for the purchase price
of $85,000 was raised by the sale of a $70,000 bond
issue.
Since the area around the 36th and Prospect
building is inhabited largely by Negroes, it will
present a fruitful field for the Negro brethren. This
resulted in 47
BRO. CLAUDE.
GUILD
is somewhat of a break-through for the Negroes, in
doing some extensive missionary work.
The 25th and Geraldine church of Christ is taking
the leadership in Campaigns for Christ. Forty-three
from various congregations have committed them-
selves to campaign for Christ in Brisbane, Australia,
June 3—July 2, 1965. There are 72 who have pledged
themselves to go to Honolulu, Hawaii, Augusrt. 2-25,
1965.

restorations and four baptisms.
In addition, nine young people
came forward committing to
spend part of their lives in mis-
sion work.
The “Commitment Series”
was the kick-off for a
paign for Christ to be
ducted in Stillwater through
March and April. It will climax
May 2-5 with a gospel meeting
in which Hardeman Nichols
will preach. Through a reli-
gious census, the Stillwater
members intend to contact ev-
ery home in the city during
March.
Over 100 members of the con-
gregation are engaged in a
personal workers training series
being conducted by Joe Schu-
bert, minister.
Seventeen Stillwater Chris-
tians will participate in a Cam-
