The Young Mothers Group is a new special interest group
of the Sisterhood. This group is geared to mothers of chil-
dren in pre-school and under. Meetings and programs will
usually be held on the first Thursday night of the month
with the focus on issues and topics of interest to a mother
of young children. Everyone is welcome to attend and be-
come a part of Sisterhood. Sisterhood dues are $30 annu-
ally and go to support many projects, including camp and
Pilgrimage to Israel scholarships.
As our synagogue has grown larger, it is
difficult for some of our members to navigate
our hallways. We would like to be able to
offer wheelchairs to those in need. Do you or
does someone you know have a pushable
(non-motorized) usable wheelchair to donate
to the synagogue? Please consider donating
it to Beth Yeshurun. It’s a Mitzvah!

Houston. Hannah’s Hebrew name is Shira
Tova, she is named in loving memory of her
