bit Races to the cowboy events and it
ta stated has engaged Albert Glenn
of Haskell to conduct the races. Many
of the fastest dogs in the state are
expected to enter, ami the rodeo arena,
it is said, is ideally adapted for the
races. The seating capacity, esti-
mated at 151M1U, is so arranged that a
good view mi lie had of anything
happening in any part of the field.
Cowboy* and cowgirls are arriving
daily for the rodeo events in which
$6>NIU. in cash prises will be awarded
to the winners. All construction is
completed on tlie grounds and the
pits are ready for lighting the fires
which will roast tne thousands of
poumis of beef that will be served in
the f< rr. of a free barbecue the open-
ing day.

On account of the heavy rain fall-

dependent District were established
in 1889, and very imperfectly de-
•mibed by rar** and bounds, it is
necessary for * joint meeting of the
commissioners’ court and the county
school board of Cooke county, Texas,
to re-establish and re-define the lines
and field notes of said Hood Inde-
pendent School District.
Said joint meeting of the commis-
sioners’ court and the county school
trustees is hereby called to meet at
the court house in Gainesville, Texas,
May 2, 1925, at 2 o’clock p. m., and
all persons interested in said boun-
dary lines are requested to be pres-
ent, and particularly the school trus-
tees of Hood Independent District and
the Common School District* adjoin-
ing same.
