A TAX SUGGESTION
Treasury Tax Expert Randolph Pau) suggested a
few changes in the income tax setup when he ap- j
peared (before the House Ways and Means Commit- I
tee the other day One of them has our hearty en-
dorsement—and that of every taxpayer who is try-
ing to send a boy or girl to college
Mr Paul would permit the usual $400 exemption '
for children from 18 to 21 years who arc attending 1
flchool. Any parent knows that the expense of rear- I
ing a child just begins when college begins
It's all-very well to talk about a boy working his
way through college. Lots of them do But more I
