To start the Women's Soft-
ball League action off this week,
the Blue-Belles avenged an earl
ier loss by beating the Kitty
Stompers 19-7 on Monday night,
while on Tuesday the Kitty the Giants committed error af-

ceived the Outstanding Perfor-1
mance Award of the United
States Civil Service in a cere-
mony conducted recently at the
Pentagon. Formal presentation
was made by Major General
William J. Sutton. Chief of the
U. S. Army Reserve
Mrs. Dyess was cited for her
work during the past year as
a member of the Public Infor-
mation Office of the Chief. Ar-
