II Timothy 1:7 was the scrip-

those who teach in the school.
Brothers Harmon; Guy Caskey;
and Bill Snow, director of the
school, teach sessions that con-
tribute to those enrolled in
recognizing that “God hath not
given us the spirit of fear, but of
power, and of love, and of a
sound mind.” The School of
Practical Evangelism teaches
the responsibility and opportun-

retirement from the Harding

engaged in a number of gospel
meetings and special lectures on
the book of Revelation. He does

“In a more personal sense, I
have been with one institution
for 15 years and am 42 years
old. This is a matter of growth,
both for me and for Pepperdine,
and it’s time to be repotted.
“The University of Oklahoma
is one of the greatest education-
al institutions in the American
Southwest, and this is my
homeland. My family came
from Poland to the Southwest in
1845 and in a very real sense I
am coming home to a job that is
extremely challenging. It will be
my first experience with a
public institution and I am
anticipating an opportunity for
public service which I hope will
make a genuine contribution. I
especially look forward to an
active role in serving Churches
of Christ in the area.”
