A word from Pastor John:"Hindsight,"the saying
goes,"is 20/20." It's true that we can often see
things in the past with more clarity than we did in
the moment. But what about those times when
our memories of an event obscure our ability to
see it accurately? The people of Israel are a perfect
example of a group whose memory of the past
doesn't quite match up with reality, yet God finds a
way to respond with grace, anyway. Our call today is
to have our perceptions of the past shaped by God's
vision for our future.
Join us every Sunday morning for our scheduled
worship services:
• 8:15 a.m.—Word & Ta ble Worship in the
Sanctuary (Communion Weekly)
• 9 a.m. — Refresh Worship in the Fellowship

St. Paul's Episcopal church is a part of the Anglican
communion throughout the world. We claim to be
both Catholic—that is true for the historic Christian
faith — and Protestant — that is, truly reformed and
evangelical. We have no required confession of faith
except the Apostles'and Nicene Creeds, which we
share with many other Christians. Our central act of
worship is the Holy Communion or Lord's Supper.

Sunday morning's message centers around Jesus
being asked about paying taxes. Should God's
people help support a government that neither
honors nor follows God?That question still resonates
with many of God's people today. At what point
does an earthly government become so ungodly
that Christians can no longer support it? Join us as
we seekto apply Jesus'answerfrom 2,000years ago
to our modern situation.
