Diabetes Support
Group
The local Diabetes Support
Group will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
on Jan. 16 at the North Texas
Medical Center classrooms.
The topic will be "diabetes
and surgery presented by Dr.
Leah Dill, D.O., a general and
bariatric surgeon at the NTMC
Specialty Clinic.
Dill will present statistics
about improvement in type
2 diabetes following weight
loss surgery, things the person
with diabetes should know
before elective surgery and
ways the person with diabetes
can decrease the risk of
